What this recall means for you
Certain 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles have a defect in the traction control system (TCS). When cruise control is activated, the traction control system does not function, so it cannot help keep the vehicle's wheels from losing grip.
An inactive traction control system can increase the risk of a crash, especially on slippery or wet roads. Owners should be aware that the system may not be working while cruise control is in use.
The remedy is free. Dealers will update the traction control system software at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2024. To check whether your vehicle is affected, enter your VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup site or contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403 (recall number 22B).
