Chrysler Pacifica Recall 24V238: Windshield May Detach in a Crash, Raising Injury Risk

NHTSA campaign 24V238, reported March 28, 2024, 223 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager minivans may have a windshield that was not properly bonded to the vehicle. Because of this, the windshield could detach during a crash, which does not meet the federal windshield mounting safety standard (FMVSS 212).

A windshield that comes loose in a collision can increase the risk of injury to occupants. The windshield is an important part of the vehicle's structure, and a proper bond helps it stay in place to support the roof and airbags during an accident.

The remedy is free. Authorized Chrysler dealers will replace the windshield at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 30, 2024. To confirm whether your vehicle is included, check your VIN for open recalls, or contact FCA US customer service at 1-800-853-1403 and reference recall 25B.
