NHTSA campaign 24V213, reported March 20, 2024, 37 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The fuel-fired coolant pre-heaters in these motorcoaches may produce excessive exhaust gas and overheat. Excess exhaust can raise the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, and an overheating heater can cause a fire. A fire could also force passengers to evacuate in an uncontrolled traffic situation, increasing the risk of injury.

Owners are advised not to operate the coolant heaters until they have been repaired. The remedy includes inspecting the heaters, replacing damaged components, cleaning internal parts as needed, and adjusting the air-to-fuel ratio. All repairs are free of charge.
