What this recall means for you
Certain vehicles may be missing the federal certification placard, which lists the vehicle's compliance information and load limits. The vehicles may therefore fail to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 (tire selection and rims) and the certification requirements of 49 CFR Part 567.
Without the placard, an owner may not know the vehicle's correct load capacity and could unintentionally overload it, which increases the risk of a crash.
Dealers will mail a replacement federal certification placard to owners free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024. To check for this or any other open recall, enter your VIN, or contact Titan Bus customer service at 1-419-523-3593.
