Cruiser Avenir Recall 24V210: Missing tire size and pressure labels can cause a crash

NHTSA campaign 24V210, reported March 19, 2024, 136 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2023 and 2024 Cruiser Avenir trailers have Federal Certification labels that are missing the correct tire size and tire pressure (PSI) information. The labels do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120 for wheels and rims on vehicles other than passenger cars.

Without the correct tire size on the label, the wrong tires could be installed, and incorrect pressure information could lead to over- or under-inflated tires. Either condition raises the risk of a crash.

Cruiser will mail new certification labels to owners free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024. To get your label or ask questions, contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-562-3500, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
