What this recall means for you
The tire placard label on certain 2023-2024 Dodge Hornet and Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles shows an incorrect maximum vehicle capacity weight. The label does not meet the federal tire selection and rims standard (FMVSS 110).
Because the stated maximum load is wrong, an owner may load the vehicle beyond its true capacity without realizing it. An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.
Dealers will install an overlay label with the correct tire placard information at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed March 28, 2024. To ask about the recall, contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
