Jaguar I-Pace Recall 24V134: Failed turn signal may not warn other drivers, raising crash risk

NHTSA campaign 24V134, reported February 22, 2024, 2,015 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2021-2024 Jaguar I-Pace vehicles may have a turn signal that stops working without the warning system alerting the driver. The flash rate does not change to indicate that a turn signal is malfunctioning, so the driver may not realize it is out. Inoperative rear turn signals may fail to notify other drivers that your vehicle is turning, which increases the risk of a crash. The vehicles also do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and reflective devices.

The remedy is a free software update. Dealers will update the Car Configuration File (CCF) software at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 8, 2024. To confirm whether your vehicle is affected, check your VIN for open recalls, and you can contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827 and reference recall H475.
