What this recall means for you
Certain 2023-2024 Braun Ambulances vehicles may have a lighting control module with high contact nodes. These can cause the module-mounted turn signals, backup alarm, brake lights, and rearview camera to turn on intermittently or not turn on at all.
When these lights or the backup camera do not work, other drivers may not see your vehicle clearly or know you are stopping, turning, or backing up, which increases the risk of a crash.
The repair is free. Authorized Braun dealers will replace the node and update the software. Owner notification letters were mailed March 26, 2024. You can also contact Braun customer service at 419-232-7020 (Braun recall number 2024-2), and check your VIN for open recalls.
