What this recall means for you
Certain Blue Bird transit buses from model years 2021 through 2023 may have convertible seats that were installed incorrectly. As a result, a seat may not be secured to the floor, and the vehicle does not meet federal seat belt anchorage requirements (FMVSS 210).
An unsecured seat may not adequately restrain an occupant, which increases the risk of injury during a crash. Owners should be aware of this issue, especially if the bus carries passengers.
Dealers will inspect and repair the seats free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2024. For questions, contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242 and reference recall number R24CM-NSB. You can also check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
