What this recall means for you
The federal certification label on certain trailers lists an incorrect tire size and tire pressure. Because of this error, the trailer does not fully meet federal tire selection requirements. An owner relying on the label could inflate the tires incorrectly or install the wrong tires, which increases the risk of a crash.
If you own a 2024 Trail Boss trailer, contact Gulf Stream customer service at 1-800-289-8787 and reference recall number 106FK/23. Dealers will mail you a replacement federal certification label free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 8, 2024.
Until you receive and install the corrected label, check your tire size and pressure against the tire and loading information in your owner's manual rather than relying on the existing label. You can also check your VIN for open recalls on the NHTSA website.
