Infiniti QX60 Recall 23V814: Headlights May Aim Too Low at Highway Speeds

NHTSA campaign 23V814, reported December 4, 2023, 20,051 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some Infiniti QX60 vehicles may have an Adaptive Front-Light System that incorrectly adjusts the headlights downward when driving at certain high speeds. Aimed too low, the headlights can reduce how far ahead you can see the road.

Reduced visibility at speed increases the risk of a crash. If you own a 2022, 2023, or 2024 Infiniti QX60, check whether your vehicle is included in this recall by entering your VIN at NHTSA's recall lookup or contacting a dealer, and watch for the owner notification letter mailed January 26, 2024.

The remedy is free: an authorized Infiniti dealer will reconfigure the Intelligent Power Distribution Module (IPDM) settings at no charge. You can also contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 (Nissan recall number PC994) for more information.
