Jayco Travel Trailer White Hawk Recall 23V752: Window May Be Wrongly Marked as Emergency Exit

NHTSA campaign 23V752, reported November 9, 2023, 168 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A window on certain travel trailers may be incorrectly marked as an emergency exit. Because the label can mislead occupants about which window is an escape route, the trailer's emergency evacuation could be prevented or delayed, raising the risk of injury.

The repair is free. An authorized dealer will replace the red handle and red screen knob and remove the emergency exit decal. Owner notification letters were mailed November 30, 2023. If you have questions, contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 and refer to recall number 9901596.

If you own a 2023 or 2024 Jayco White Hawk travel trailer, check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls and contact an authorized dealer to schedule the free repair.
