NHTSA campaign 23V693, reported October 13, 2023, 94 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2023 Arcimoto FUV and MUV vehicles may have insufficient thread engagement between the inner and outer tie rods. This could allow the tie rod assembly to separate.

If a tie rod separates, the driver can suddenly lose steering control, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should check whether their vehicle is included in this recall and contact Arcimoto customer service at 1-541-683-6293 to arrange service. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.

Arcimoto will inspect and adjust the tie rods as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 30, 2023.
