- Problem
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2024 Jayco Precept and Entegra Coach Vision XL motorhomes. The window shade may obstruct the emergency exit window opening.
- Risk
- An obstructed emergency exit window may prevent or delay occupants from exiting in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealer will inspect and replace the window shade, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 19, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903592.

What this recall means for you
A window shade in certain 2024 motorhomes may block the emergency exit window opening. If the window is obstructed, occupants may be prevented from or delayed in escaping during an emergency, which raises the risk of injury.
An authorized dealer will inspect the window shade and replace it if necessary, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 19, 2023. If you own one of the affected vehicles, check your VIN for open recalls and contact a dealer to schedule the free inspection and repair.
