Summit Bodyworks Ford Transit 350 Recall 23V517: Fuel Hose May Leak, Creating a Fire Risk

NHTSA campaign 23V517, reported July 27, 2023, 12 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

On certain 2019-2022 Ford Transit 350 vans converted by Summit Bodyworks and equipped with a Cummins Onan QG 2800i or QG 2800i EVAP generator set, the fuel hose between the fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module may not be properly secured. This can allow gasoline to leak.

The repair is free. Cummins will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 26, 2023. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
