What this recall means for you
Certain motorhomes may have had their seat belt attachment fasteners improperly tightened at the factory. The seat belt anchorages may therefore not meet the federal seat belt anchorage standard (FMVSS 210).
If a seat belt attachment is loose, it may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, which increases the risk of injury. Owners should not wait to have this checked.
Dealers will inspect the seat belt attachment fasteners and tighten them as needed, free of charge. Owners who received a notification letter mailed July 24, 2023 can contact Winnebago Industries at 1-800-537-1885 (Winnebago recall number 175). You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
