- Problem
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Ethos, Expanse, Solstice, and Swift Class B recreational vehicles, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
- Risk
- A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect, and replace the fuel hose and clamp, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

What this recall means for you
A fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module on the generator may have inadequate clamp force. Over time this can allow gasoline to leak from the hose connection.
Gasoline leaking near an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. Owners should take this seriously and not ignore any signs of a fuel leak or fuel smell around the generator.
The repair is free at an authorized dealer, who will inspect the fuel hose and replace the hose and clamp if needed. Owners can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 and should check their VIN for open recalls.
