Forest River Columbus Recall 23V289: Tire May Be Punctured by Slide-Out Arm, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 23V289, reported April 24, 2023, 137 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A punctured or damaged tire can lead to a sudden loss of control and increases the risk of a crash. If you own a 2022 Columbus fifth wheel of this model, check whether your unit is covered by this recall, and do not wait to have it inspected.

Authorized dealers will install a riser kit at no cost to you. Owners were notified by mail beginning May 18, 2023. You can also contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-821-1487, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
