- Risk
- Obstructed rear lighting may reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2019-2021 MCI motorcoaches fitted with a rear-mounted bike rack may have their rear lighting obstructed when bikes are installed. This means the coach may not meet the federal lighting standard (FMVSS 108) for rear lamps and reflective devices.
If the rear lights are blocked, other drivers may have a harder time seeing the coach, which increases the risk of a crash. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 31, 2023.
MCI will provide instructions and a kit to add lighting to the rear-mounted bike rack at no cost. Contact MCI customer service at 1-800-241-2947 to arrange the repair, and check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
