Honda NVA110B Recall 23V195: Speedometer Cable May Break, Hiding Your Speed

NHTSA campaign 23V195, reported March 23, 2023, 15,848 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The speedometer cable on certain 2022 Honda motorcycles was routed incorrectly during assembly. Over time the cable may break or come loose from the speedometer.

If the speedometer cable breaks or detaches, the speedometer will stop showing your speed. Riding without an accurate speed reading raises the risk of a crash, so owners should have the problem corrected promptly.

Authorized Honda dealers will replace and reroute the speedometer cable at no charge. Owners who received a notification letter mailed May 1, 2023 can contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870 (recall KP1). You can also check your motorcycle's VIN for open recalls.
