What this recall means for you
On certain Prevost H3-45 motorcoaches, the turn signal lights may not flash together when the hazard warning lights are switched on while the ignition is off. This does not meet the federal lighting standard (FMVSS 108). Hazard lights that do not flash in unison can confuse other drivers about your intentions, which increases the risk of a crash.
The fix is a software update to the hazard warning lights, provided free of charge by Prevost. Owner notification letters were mailed April 14, 2023. If you own an affected vehicle, contact Prevost customer service at 1-866-870-2046 and reference recall number SR23-07 to schedule the repair.
