NHTSA campaign 23V148, reported March 7, 2023, 20 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

If the steer axle assembly separates, the driver can lose control of the vehicle, which raises the risk of a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and check their vehicle as soon as possible.

The inspection and repair of the axle assembly joints will be performed free of charge by Meritor. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2023. You can contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961, and you can also check your VIN for open recalls.
