Palomino Solaire Recall 23V141: Water Tank Can Detach and Fall onto the Road

NHTSA campaign 23V141, reported March 3, 2023, 272 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some travel trailers are missing the rear and front supports that hold the freshwater tank in place. Without them, the tank can become dislodged while the trailer is being towed.

A dislodged tank may fall to the ground during transit and become a road hazard for other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.

Dealers will install the rear and front supports for the freshwater tank free of charge. Owners who received the notification letter mailed March 21, 2023 can contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-269-432-3271, referencing recall number 400-1605.
