What this recall means for you
Certain 2023 Winnebago Adventurer, Vista and Itasca Sunstar motorhomes may be missing their rear reflectors. As a result, these vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108, which governs lamps and reflective devices.
Without the rear reflectors, other drivers may have a harder time seeing your motorhome, especially at night or in low light. That reduced visibility increases the risk of a crash.
Authorized dealers will install the missing reflectors free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2023. You can contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885, referencing recall number 173. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
