What this recall means for you
Certain travel trailers with SDS2 2-burner drop-in cooktops have internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves. These tubes may fracture, which can cause a gas leak.
A gas leak near an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. Owners should stop using the cooktop if they smell gas and contact the manufacturer promptly.
The repair is free. Unsold vehicles will get a regulator support bracket installed by dealers, while sold vehicles will have their burner tubes inspected and repaired or the cooktop replaced as needed. Owners can contact Off Grid Trailers customer service at 1-780-616-2830, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
