What this recall means for you
The third-row seatback latch may not engage properly, which can weaken the top tether anchorage used to secure a child seat. If that happens, a child seat may not restrain a child as intended during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
If you have a third-row child seat installed, check that the seatback is fully latched and that the top tether is secured. Dealers will inspect the third-row seat and replace the seat frame and components as needed, at no cost to you. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2023.
To confirm whether your vehicle is included, contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837 (recall N768), or check your VIN for open recalls and schedule a free repair at an authorized dealer.
