Lordstown Endurance Recall 23V114: Electric Truck May Lose Drive Power and Fail to Restart

NHTSA campaign 23V114, reported February 22, 2023, 19 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A high-voltage cable connecting the inverter and motor in certain 2023 Lordstown Endurance electric pickups may develop a fault. This can cause a loss of drive power, and the truck may not restart once it has been turned off.

Losing drive power while driving can increase the risk of a crash. Owners should be aware of this risk and avoid driving a vehicle they suspect is affected until it has been checked.

Lordstown will replace the high-voltage cable assembly free of charge. Owners who received the notification letter mailed March 10, 2023 can contact Lordstown customer service at 1-248-522-9100. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
