Tiffin Cahaba Recall 23V104: Wrong Suspension Springs Can Buckle or Damage Axle

NHTSA campaign 23V104, reported February 20, 2023, 243 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some Tiffin Cahaba motorhomes from 2021 and 2022 may have rear Sumo Springs that are the wrong size, and front Sumo Springs that may have been installed in the wrong location. Oversized or misplaced springs can affect how the suspension carries load.

The rear springs may buckle from over-compression, and incorrectly installed front springs may damage the front axle. Either condition can increase the risk of a crash.

An authorized dealer will inspect and replace the rear Sumo Springs and relocate the front springs as needed, at no cost to you. Owners were notified by letter on April 21, 2023, and can contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661 using recall number TIF-128. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
