What this recall means for you
Some dinette rear and forward-facing seat belts were built with incorrect brackets that can loosen over time. The seat belt anchorages therefore do not fully meet federal safety standard FMVSS 210.
In a crash, loose seat belt brackets may not hold a passenger in place as intended, which raises the risk of injury. Owners of affected motorhomes should check whether their vehicle is covered and have the brackets inspected.
The repair is free. Authorized dealers will replace the seat belt brackets at no charge. Owners who received a notification letter dated March 14, 2023 can contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267, and you can check your VIN for any open recalls.
