NHTSA campaign 22V952, reported December 23, 2022, 13 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2020-2022 Lion electric buses are affected because the rear axle adjusting ring fasteners on the passenger side were not tightened properly. This can cause premature wear on suspension and differential components.

If the problem is not corrected, the suspension can separate from the frame, which may lead to a loss of vehicle control and a higher risk of a crash.

The repair is free. Lion will inspect the fasteners and tighten them as necessary. Owners can contact Lion customer service at 1-855-546-6706, and should check their vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
