Lamborghini Urus Recall 22V804: Rearview camera display may fail, raising crash risk

NHTSA campaign 22V804, reported October 26, 2022, 48 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The infotainment system in certain vehicles may become damaged, which can cause the rearview camera display to stop working. Without a working display, the driver has less view of what is behind the vehicle.

An inoperative rearview camera reduces rear visibility and increases the risk of a crash, particularly when backing up. The affected vehicles also do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111, "Rear Visibility."

Dealers will replace the infotainment unit free of charge. Owners who received the notification letter mailed December 16, 2022 can contact Automobili Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276, referencing recall L636-R.01.22. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
