- Problem
- Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2023 Seismic and Seismic Luxury trailers. Fuel cap does not fit properly on the filler fuel neck for the cargo fuel tank.
- Risk
- An improperly fitted fuel cap may leak fuel or vapors, increasing the risk of a fire.
- Remedy
- Dealers will inspect and replace filler fuel neck as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 25, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number to this recall is 9901581.

What this recall means for you
The fuel cap on the cargo fuel tank may not fit properly onto the filler fuel neck. A poorly fitted cap can allow fuel or vapors to leak, which increases the risk of a fire.
If you own a 2023 Seismic or Seismic Luxury fifth wheel trailer, an authorized dealer will inspect the filler fuel neck and replace it if needed, at no charge to you.
