Keystone Alpine Recall 22V726: Leveling Foot Pads Can Loosen and Fall Off in Transit

NHTSA campaign 22V726, reported September 29, 2022, 9,678 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain Keystone travel trailers have hydraulic leveling leg foot pads that can work loose and separate from the trailer while it is being towed. A foot pad that detaches on the road can become a hazard to other drivers and raises the risk of a crash.

Authorized Keystone dealers will inspect the foot pad mounting bolt and, where needed, reinstall it using thread-locking adhesive. The repair is free of charge. Owners who received a notification letter mailed November 10, 2022 can contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369, and any owner can check their trailer's VIN for open recalls.
