NHTSA campaign 22V725, reported September 29, 2022, 3,315 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

On certain 2023 vehicles, only one of the two front parking lights may stay on under some operating conditions. The vehicle also fails to meet federal lighting standard FMVSS 108.

A front parking light that goes out reduces how visible your vehicle is to other drivers, which can increase the risk of a crash.

An authorized dealer will reprogram the electronic control unit for the front parking lights at no cost to you. You can also call BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
