NHTSA campaign 22V717, reported September 26, 2022, 702 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2021-2022 Doosan Portable Air Compressors have wheel bearing seals that may leak grease into the drum brakes. Grease on the brake drums and shoes can reduce braking performance while the unit is being towed, which raises the risk of a crash.

If you own one of these units, contact Doosan Portable Power customer service at 1-704-883-3500 to confirm whether your unit is included. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2022. You can also check your unit's identification number for any open recalls.

An authorized dealer will install new seals at no cost to you. Do not tow the unit with a suspected grease leak until it has been inspected and repaired.
