Alamo Group Alljetvac Recall 22V669: Hose reel can fall, creating injury risk

NHTSA campaign 22V669, reported September 6, 2022, 150 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2019-2022 All JetVac Recycler vehicles may have a clevis that attaches the hose reel tilt rod and cylinder to the hose reel that is not long enough. Over time this can damage the clevis, and the hose reel may fall to the ground.

A falling hose reel increases the risk of injury to people nearby. Owners should stop using the hose reel tilt function and keep people clear of the reel area until the vehicle has been repaired.

The repair is free: an authorized dealer will install a threaded clevis of the proper length. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 13, 2022. You can contact Alamo customer service at 1-800-382-8302, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
