Certain front seats may have mounting bolts that were not tightened properly. Because of this, the seat may not stay securely attached to the vehicle, and the seating system may not meet federal safety standards for seating systems.
If a seat has a loose mounting bolt, it may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, which increases the risk of injury.
Dealers will inspect the front seat mounting bolts and tighten them if needed, at no cost to you. Owners were notified by letter starting November 7, 2022.
