Tiffin Wayfarer Recall 22V650: Loose Wheels Could Detach and Cause a Crash

NHTSA campaign 22V650, reported August 29, 2022, 9 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain motorhomes may have wheel lug nuts that were not properly tightened during an earlier recall repair (21V-514). If the lug nuts are loose, a wheel can come off while the vehicle is in use, which raises the risk of a crash.

Dealers will check the wheel lugs and tighten them to specification if needed. The inspection and any tightening are free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 28, 2022. You can also contact Wayfarer customer service at 1-256-356-8661 and reference recall WAY-104.
