- Problem
- Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Four Winds, Quantum, Chateau, and 2022 Geneva motorhomes. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.
- Risk
- An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.
- Remedy
- Dealer will repair or replace the awnings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by September 16, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867.

What this recall means for you
This recall covers certain 2022-2023 motorhomes equipped with an electric retractable awning. A welded seam in the awning fabric may separate, which could allow the awning to drop or extend beyond its normal operating range.
An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury. If you own an affected motorhome, stop using the awning electric controls until it has been inspected.
