- Problem
- Ox Bodies, Inc. (Ox Bodies) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Stampede, Maverick, Chisholm, Trash Body, Flat Dump, Stock Yard, Load King, Aluminum, Chipper, Chisholm Lite, Frontier, and Trailmaker dump bodies. The weld in the rear hinge assemblies of the dump bodies may be insufficient.
- Risk
- An insufficient weld may cause the rear hinge assembly to fail, increasing the risk of an injury.
- Remedy
- Ox Bodies will repair the rear hinge assembly welds, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 15, 2022. Owners may contact Ox Bodies' customer service at 1-205-932-5720.

What this recall means for you
Some 2019 dump bodies may have an insufficient weld in the rear hinge assembly. If the weld fails, the rear hinge assembly can fail, which increases the risk of injury.
Owners of affected dump bodies will have the rear hinge assembly welds repaired free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 15, 2022. If you have questions, contact Ox Bodies customer service at 1-205-932-5720.
