Mcneilus Bridgemaster Recall 22V376: Tire can hit fender hardware, causing fender to detach

NHTSA campaign 22V376, reported May 26, 2022, 8 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2022 Bridgemaster mixer trucks may have insufficient clearance between the tire and the fender hardware. Under some conditions the tire can contact that hardware, which could cause the fender or fender tube to come loose or detach from the vehicle.

A detached fender or fender tube can fall onto the road and become a hazard to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. If you own a 2022 Bridgemaster mixer truck, check your VIN for open recalls and contact McNeilus customer service at 1-888-868-7278 for more information.

McNeilus will replace the fenders and fender tubes on the tag axle free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 18, 2022.
