What this recall means for you

Certain 2022 Freightliner Cascadia trucks may have a double check valve in the air brake supply system that can trap air. This can impair service brake function and cause the rear axle to lock while the truck is moving.

A locked rear axle can lead to brake component failure or longer stopping distances, which increases the risk of a crash. According to the recall notice, all affected vehicles have already been remedied, so no owner notification letters are being sent.
