Hyundai Palisade Recall 22V353: Instrument Display Can Go Blank, Hiding Warning Lights

NHTSA campaign 22V353, reported May 18, 2022, 158 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The instrument cluster assembly in certain 2022 Palisade vehicles may have been built with too much adhesive. This can cause the instrument cluster display screen to stop working.

When the display is disabled, it will not show important information such as speed, gauges, and warning lights. Without these, the driver may not notice a problem in time, which can increase the risk of a crash.

The repair is free. Dealers will replace the instrument cluster assembly at no charge. Owners who have not yet had the work done can contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
