Bowlus Endless Highways Recall 22V342: Gas leak from cooktop valves can cause fire

NHTSA campaign 22V342, reported May 16, 2022, 2 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain travel trailers are being recalled because the burner control valves on the two-burner cooktop may become damaged. Damaged valves can allow gas to leak. If that gas meets an ignition source, it can increase the risk of a fire.

If you own an affected trailer, the cooktop will be replaced free of charge by an authorized dealer. Owners were notified by letter mailed in May 2022. You can also contact the manufacturer's customer service at 1-805-436-5855 for more information.

Whether or not you received a notice, check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your trailer is affected and still needs the repair.
