Electrameccanica Solo G3 Recall 22V307: Failed rear turn signal may go unnoticed by driver

NHTSA campaign 22V307, reported May 6, 2022, 129 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

A short circuit in the rear turn signal wiring can cause one turn signal to stop working while the other keeps flashing at its normal rate. Because the flashing pattern does not change, the driver is not alerted that a turn signal has failed, which can make it harder for other drivers to see the vehicle's intentions.

A rear turn signal that is not working increases the risk of a crash. The fix is a software update to the body control module, provided free of charge by ElectraMeccanica at an authorized dealer. Owners can contact ElectraMeccanica customer service at 1-888-457-SOLO. Check your VIN for open recalls to see whether your vehicle is affected.

Problem
