What this recall means for you
Corrosion can develop on the ball joints inside the windshield wiper module. When this happens, one or both wipers may stop working, making it harder to see the road in rain, snow, or other poor conditions.
Reduced visibility raises the risk of a crash. If your wipers stop working or move erratically, avoid driving in bad weather until the problem is repaired.
An authorized dealer will inspect the wiper module and repair or replace it as needed, at no cost to you. You can also contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782, and check your VIN for open recalls.
