Porsche Taycan Recall 22V100: Child Seat May Not Anchor Securely in Rear Seat

NHTSA campaign 22V100, reported February 22, 2022, 5,305 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The center rear seat belt buckle wiring harness can block access to the lower child seat anchors on the right rear seat. This can stop a child seat from being properly secured, so it does not meet federal child restraint anchorage requirements.

A child seat that is not properly secured raises the risk of injury to a child during a crash. If you have a child seat installed in the right rear seat of your vehicle, check that it is firmly anchored and do not rely on it until the repair is complete.

Dealers will reroute and secure the center rear seat belt buckle wiring harness and replace a damaged buckle if needed, at no cost to you. Contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243, and check your VIN for any open recalls.
