Lance 1685 Recall 22V097: Propane Hose Can Rub Springs, Risking Gas Leak and Fire

NHTSA campaign 22V097, reported February 18, 2022, 120 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The liquid propane (LP) hose on certain travel trailers may not be properly secured to the frame. It can then contact the leaf springs, which can wear through the hose and cause a propane gas leak.

A propane leak increases the risk of fire. If you own an affected trailer, have an authorized dealer inspect and properly secure the LP hose. The repair is free of charge. Owners were notified by mail beginning April 22, 2022, and you can contact Lance Camper customer service at 1-661-949-3322 with questions.
