What this recall means for you
Certain 2022 Forest River Cherokee Toy Hauler trailers may have a Tire and Loading Information placard that lists incorrect rim information. The label is meant to tell owners which tires and wheels are correct for the vehicle, and the incorrect information means the vehicle does not fully meet federal wheel and rim safety and certification requirements.
Because the placard may be wrong, an owner could install replacement tires that do not fit the rim properly. Improperly fitted tires can increase the risk of a crash.
Forest River will mail a replacement Tire and Loading Information placard free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 8, 2022. To get your replacement, contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100, referencing recall number 73-1457. Check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
