What this recall means for you
The Federal and Certification labels on certain travel trailers may list incorrect tire information. As a result, the trailers do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120, which covers wheels and rims for vehicles other than passenger cars.
Because the label may be wrong, an owner could install replacement tires that are not suitable for the trailer. Incorrect tires can affect towing performance and increase the risk of a crash.
The manufacturer, Cruiser RV, will mail replacement certification labels free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2022. To get a replacement label or ask questions, contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-206-7920 and reference recall RC000157. You can also check your trailer's VIN for any open recalls.
